Please join us for our October Meeting: where the guest speaker will be Mark Oare, the Vice President of Global Sales with TokenEx, a local company here in OKC.

Mark Oare strongly believes in the power of humanity—people helping people—and that sense of empathy and understanding informs his sales philosophy. A self-described “well-mentored, vocal strategist,” Mark brings TokenEx’s sales team a clear vision of success and a proven track record of generating revenue.

What is Tokenization? Tokenization is the process of turning sensitive data into nonsensitive data called "tokens" that can be used in a database or internal system without bringing it into scope. Tokenization can be used to secure sensitive data by replacing the original data with an unrelated value of the same length and format. The tokens are then sent to an organization’s internal systems for use, and the original data is stored in a secure token vault. Unlike encrypted data, tokenized data is undecipherable and irreversible. This distinction is particularly important: Because there is no mathematical relationship between the token and its original number, tokens cannot be returned to their original form.
